DALLAS – Oregon State left-handed pitcher Cooper Hjerpe and outfielder Jacob Melton have earned First-Team All-American honors and outfielder Justin Boyd has been selected season team by the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) on Wednesday.
For Hjerpe and Melton, it is both their second All-America honor following first-team selections by Collegiate Baseball. For Boyd, it is his first career All-America recognition.
Hjerpe was also named the National Pitcher of the Year by the College Baseball Foundation on Wednesday, in addition to being a first-team All-Region selection by the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA).
