CORVALLIS – Oregon State and Purdue have agreed to a home-and-home football series, Beavers' Vice President and Director of Athletics Scott Barnes announced Tuesday.
OSU will travel to West Lafayette, Ind., to face the Boilermakers Sept. 4, 2021 to open the season with Purdue returning to Reser Stadium Sept. 21, 2024.
The teams have met only once, a 22-14 victory by OSU at then No. 2 Purdue Oct. 21, 1967 during a season in which the Beavers were tabbed the "Giant Killers" for their success against nationally ranked opponents.
The contests with Purdue come on the heels of a two-game home-and-home series with Minnesota that was completed during the 2016 and 2017 seasons and a similar two-game pact with Wisconsin in 2011 and '12.
