BERKELEY, Calif. – The Oregon State volleyball team earned a five set victory over California on Friday afternoon in Haas Pavilion.
Cal took the opening set 25-22, but Oregon State responded with a dominating 25-13 set two win and then a third set win by 25-19. The Bears took the fourth set 25-20 before OSU closed the match out in set five, 16-14.
In a first set of runs, it was California taking the early 5-2 lead. Oregon State responded with a 3-0 run of its own to knot the game at 5-5. The Bears matched the Beavers run with a 3-0 run before OSU regained the lead at 11-9 after a 6-1 run.
