CORVALLIS, Ore. – Drew Rasmussen struck out a career-best 12 and Logan Ice and Kyle Nobach each homered as the fourth-ranked Oregon State baseball team opened its home schedule with a ss-ss win over San Francisco at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
Rasmussen surpassed his previous career high of 10 in last season’s perfect game, and the sophomore scattered a run and two hits in six innings to improve to 3-0 this season.
Ice, meanwhile, was a single shy of becoming the first Oregon State player to hit for the cycle in five years.
