SEATTLE, Wash. – Seniors Natalie Higgins and Emma Jones both found the net as the Oregon State women's soccer team earned a 2-1 road victory over Seattle U Sunday evening.
The Beavers came back from a first-half deficit to net the win. Higgins leveled the score in the 27th minute, less than 60 seconds after the Redhawks had taken the early lead. Jones tacked on the game-winner in the 74th, curling in a free kick from 23 yards out.
Oregon State created the first scoring chance of the match, as redshirt-senior Emmy Rodriguez headed a corner kick just wide of the post.
