CORVALLIS, Ore. – The No. 15/22 Oregon State women's basketball team notched a 73-40 win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff, as the Beavers hosted their final tune-up of the nonconference schedule Tuesday evening at Gill Coliseum.
"We had a great crowd here tonight, and I thought they brought great energy," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "I loved the effort tonight. Coming in we talked about needing to do well on the boards, and we did that. I liked our aggressiveness right from the tip, and I think this was a good win for us."
Oregon State finishes nonconference play with a 11-1 record, and will enter Pac-12 play on an eight-game winning streak.
