SEATTLE – Jake Thompson spun 7 2/3 scoreless innings and Steven Kwan paced the No. 1 Oregon State offense with three hits to pace the Beavers to a 3-0 win over Washington Saturday afternoon at Husky Ballpark. The victory gave Oregon State the series win after winning game two of the series on Friday.
Thompson struck out eight, walked three and scattered six hits in the outing, his ninth start of the year, and picked up the win to improve to 8-0. That ties him for the nation's lead.
