CORVALLIS, Ore. – It had been 41 days since the Oregon State volleyball team had played in Gill Coliseum, but the Beavers picked up where they left off back on August 26 beating California 3-0 Friday night. It was the first conference victory of the season for OSU, which is now 4-0 on its home court.
With the win the Beavers advanced their record to 11-6 and 1-4 in the Pac-12. California fell to 11-5, 2-3. OSU defeated the Golden Bears by scores of 25-20, 25-17 and 25-13.
Oregon State fell behind early 7-3 despite a pair of unforced errors by the Bears leading to an early timeout from head coach Mark Barnard.
