CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State softball stumbled in its final home game of the season as it suffered a 6-0 loss against No. 10/11 Utah on Sunday afternoon. The Beavers secured the series victory with wins on Friday and Saturday afternoon.
Utah – who was held to just two hits entering the finale – started the game with back-to-back singles to threaten early. However, three straight outs by and Company ended the inning unharmed.
The Beavers struggled to generate a hit through the first two frames as they went down in order. Utah took the lead – one that it would never give up – in the second frame after a two-out two-run home run.
