SYRACUSE, N.Y. – The Oregon State University men's soccer team got an early lead against [7/7] Syracuse on Tuesday night at the SU Soccer Stadium thanks to junior Hassani Dotson (Federal Way, Wash.), but surrendered a late goal to drop the road decision at 3-2.
Dotson got the Beavers (2-4) on the board in the ninth minute, taking the ball up the left side of the pitch, juking through two Orange (4-0-2) defenders and curving a shot past Hendrick Hilpert for the lead.
Syracuse responded quickly, as Jonathan Hagman took a pass from Adnan Bakalovic in the 16th minute and buried a shot past redshirt-junior Ryan Vincent (Newberg, Ore.
