Two teams battling issues with slow starts met in a smoky stadium in California, but Oregon State was the only team that got burned on Saturday.
The Stanford Cardinal scored on their first possession, a five-play drive that took just over 1 minute, and never looked back as they ran up the score on the Oregon State Beavers en route to a 48-17 win.
But it wasn't all bad for the Beavers.
Trevon Bradford broke the century mark, tallying 120 yards on five catches to go with a touchdown while running back Jermar Jefferson posted yet another 100-yard rushing game - his sixth of the season - with 19 carries for 109 yards.
