CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women’s basketball team comes in at No. 7 in the Associated Press rankings again this week, matching the best ranking in school history for the fourth consecutive week.
The Beavers have a big week ahead, hosting their Beavers Beyond the Classroom game Tuesday against Cal State Bakersfield, before hosting No. 14 Tennessee in a marquee matchup on Saturday.
Oregon State has opened the year with seven-straight wins, and has been dominant throughout the first month of the season, earning victories by an average of 28.7 points per game. Junior Sydney Wiese made OSU history Saturday, becoming the 19th player in school history to reach the 1,000 career-point mark in the Beavers’ win over Idaho.
