CORVALLIS – An explosive third-quarter lifted the No. 7/9 Oregon State women’s basketball team to an 86-65 win over UC Riverside Sunday afternoon at Gill Coliseum.
“This was a great win for us today,” said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. “I liked the fight and composure this team showed today when we were challenged. UC Riverside is a veteran team that executes a unique offense, and I give them credit for hitting their shots and making a game of it early on. I thought this was a really good test today in front of another great crowd.
