Beavers Soar Past Eagles In First Road Game

DURHAM, N.C. – The Oregon State women's basketball team soared past the North Carolina Central Eagles Wednesday afternoon, as the Beavers took a 97-44 win in their first road game of the season.

"I thought we approached this game the right way," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "We've had a couple great days of practice, and playing your first road game is a new experience. We did a nice job of controlling tempo today, and I thought that was the biggest key for us. I was really proud of the effort."

Sophomore Kat Tudor recorded her first career double-double, setting career highs in both points and rebounds with 23 and 11, respectively.
