CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State softball team recorded a 4-3 win in game two to win the series against Stanford for the third-straight season on Saturday afternoon. The Cardinal threatened with a pair of runners on base and two outs in the top of the sixth, but the Beavers snuffed any comeback.
Both teams went down in order to start the game, but the Cardinal struck in the second frame after a double to left field allowed a run to score. A great throw from and a relay from to home prevented further damage in the inning.
