Beavers Shutout Denver in Season Opener

Box Score CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's soccer team opened its season with a 3-0 shutout against Denver.

"I was really happy with how we started. It was a collective performance from the start," said head coach Terry Boss. "In the second half, Denver did a great job putting pressure on us. We had to adapt and I liked that the guys stayed true to our game plan. We did adapt and were able to manage the game and it came out very well."

Junior Sofiane Djeffal earned the Beavers' first goal with a penalty kick at the 27th minute.
