ATHENS, Ga. – The Oregon State women’s golf team will open match play against No. 1 Duke at the 44th Annual Liz Murphey Collegiate Classic on Saturday.
The Beavers finished Friday’s stroke play with a 22-over 310 at the par-72, 6,307-yard University of Georgia Golf Course and will be in the “black” bracket with No. 1 Duke, No. 7 Arkansas and Auburn. The top eight teams from Friday’s stroke play competition will be in the “orange” bracket and have a chance to win the team title.
Duke finished stroke play in a tie for ninth place with a 14-over 302.
