The Oregon State Women’s Basketball team won big against Utah Valley, 98-41, for their second win of the season. Leading the way was Marie Gulich, who scored 19 points for the second consecutive game, and Mikayla Pivec with 18. The Beavers have found a formidable one-two punch in Gulich and Pivec who have led the team in scoring in the first two games.
The Beavers never trailed the entire game, thanks to an 11-0 run to start the game, but Utah Valley tried to make the game interesting by going on their own 7-0 run at the end of the first quarter, capped by a Taylor Christensen jumper with four seconds left to close the gap to three.
