STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon State cross country team continued its historic season on Friday at the 2018 Pac-12 Cross Country Championships with the highest placing in Pac-12 history for the program at the Stanford Golf Course.
The Beavers had a previous best finish in the Pac-12 of ninth place, but that changed on Friday when OSU ran to a sixth place finish. Oregon State did finish in sixth place one other time in 2008 when the conference was still the Pac-10.
Senior Juliana Mount paced the Beavers for the fourth time this season as the team finished with 173 points; the lowest point total in school history.
