STANFORD, Calif. – The Oregon State men's golf team battled through a windy day on The Farm in the second round of The Goodwin on Friday.
The Beavers sit in 15th place through 36 holes after posting a 34-over 289-305--594 at the par-70, 6,727-yard Stanford Golf Course.
The final round of the three-day, 54-hole tournament begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday and live scoring is available at golfstat.com.
"The conditions were very tough today and for nine holes we battled through it pretty well," Oregon State head coach said. "The round seemed to change when we reached the par-4, 480-yard second playing into the wind.
