CANBY, Ore. -- The Oregon State men’s golf team rallied in the afternoon round at the inaugural Airstream Adventures Northwest Classic on Monday before play was suspended due to darkness.
The Beavers were tied for 12th place after opening with an 11-over 299 at the par-72, 6,976-yard Willamette Valley Country Club. They were 6 over in the afternoon round and moved into a tie for ninth in the 15-team field before play was suspended at 7:30 p.m.
Most of the groups have three holes left to finish their second round as water pooling on the greens forced a long delay.
