CORVALLIS – The Oregon State women's soccer team out-shot Colorado 13-9 Thursday afternoon, but the Buffaloes took a 1-0 win at Lorenz Field.
"I thought we played a good game of soccer," said Oregon State head coach Linus Rhode. "We're creating a lot of chances, we're just having a tough time finding the back of the net right now. Our attacking players are working extremely hard, it's just that last little bit of composure that we're working on. You cannot fault the team's effort today, it's just that little bit of composure."
Sophomore Taylor Lemmond led the Beavers with five shots in the game.
