CORVALLIS – The No. 15 Oregon State women's basketball team improved to 3-0 on the season, taking down CSU Bakersfield 82-51 Saturday afternoon at Gill Coliseum.
"This time of year you're really looking to continue getting better," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "I thought the team responded well to practice the last few days. Today we executed well and rebounded well – we didn't shoot the ball great at the beginning of the game, but when you defend the way we were you will gain momentum. This is a team that has weapons all over the place, and when they are moving the ball it is a lot of fun to watch.
