Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team remained unranked in this week’s USA Today/NWCA Top 25, but the Beavers nearly tripled the number of points they received in the weekly poll.
The Beavers received 14 points, up from five in the previous poll, just nine fewer than No. 25 CSU Bakersfield, after going 2-1 on a Pacific-12 Conference road trip through California. OSU knocked off then-No. 22 Stanford and Cal Poly before falling 21-20 to the Roadrunners on Feb. 6.
That victory moved the Roadrunners into the rankings at No. 25. Arizona State (11) and Stanford (10) joined the Beavers in the also receiving votes category.
