Corvallis, Ore. – The Oregon State wrestling team moved up one spot to No. 22 on Tuesday in the weekly USA Today/NWCA Division I Coaches Poll, following a 32-7 victory over Wyoming this past Saturday.
However, the Beavers dropped two spots to No. 19 in InterMat’s team rankings, the lopsided win notwithstanding. They remained at No. 23 in InterMat’s tournament rankings.
The Beavers were the only Pacific-12 Conference team in the NWCA Top 25. Arizona State (10) and Stanford (5) received votes.
OSU’s three ranked wrestlers all won against Wyoming and remained in InterMat’s and The Open Mat’s Top 20 in their respective weight classes.
