WAIKOLOA, Hawai’i – It was a record-setting day for the Oregon State men’s golf team at the 25th Annual Amer Ari Invitational on Friday.
The Beavers shot a 16-under 272 to break the single-round team record and Jonas Liebich fired a 9-under 63 to tie the program’s single-round individual record.
Oregon State jumped five spots into third place in the 19-team field with an 18-under 286-272--558 at the par-72, 7,074-yard Waikoloa Kings’ Course. Pac-12 teams hold down the top six spots, led by UCLA with a 25-under 279-272--551 and USC with a 23-under 278-275--553.
