Mannion has carved out a niche for himself as a career backup. He threw 21 passes for the Vikings last season, completing 12, with no touchdowns and two interceptions. He’s done enough to keep the backup job for Minnesota, and will be back on the bench when the Vikings take on Green Bay in Week 1.
