It’s been a rough week for all the Oregon State players trying to make an NFL roster. During the final round of roster cuts following the preseason, a lot of former Beavers didn’t make the cut. Here’s how things shook out.
Alexander was cut following his final preseason game with the Seahawks, but was quickly claimed off waivers by the Eagles. He’ll be a contributor on special teams, and likely sub in at weak side linebacker when required.
Andrews was waived by the Vikings after being injured. He cleared waivers, and was then placed on the Vikings Injured Reserve list.
