COMO, Italy – Another day, another outstanding opportunity for the Beavers.
After beginning the morning in Treviso, near Italy’s Adriatic Coast, the Oregon State women’s basketball team made its way inland on Wednesday, to the famed Lake Como, located near the Swiss border.
After a four hour bus-ride the team spent the afternoon walking around the city on their own. Many of the players took the opportunity to go shopping or to sample the local cuisine. After spending some time in town, the Beavers took the “Funicular” railway from Como to the mountaintop town of Brunate, which overlooks the lake.
