Oregon State survived a late game scare by Arizona State to get a 3-2 win. The Beavers with the win get their first league win, improve to 13-2 overall and a 3-1 record at home. The loss puts Arizona State two games behind the Beavers with a record of 13-4 and are still one spot behind Oregon State at third in the Pac-12.
The game started out as a pitching battle as both teams were held scoreless through the first three innings. KJ Harrison changed that in the fourth inning with a home run that scored himself and Logan Ice to take a 2-0 lead.
