CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State track & field team heads to Salem on Saturday for the Charles Bowles Willamette Invitational.
The meet will be held at McCulloch Stadium in Salem; the hammer throw will be contested at nearby 1850 Oxford St, behind the Math Learning Center. Feld events begin at 9:30 a.m. with the shot put and long jump; track events start at 11:30 a.m. with the 400-meter relay.
OSU will have no entrants in any individual race longer than 800 meters. The distance crew will train through the weekend to prepare for the upcoming San Francisco State Distance Carnival (March 31) and the Stanford Invitational (March 31-April 1).
