SEATTLE, Wash. – The Oregon State track & field team had a solid opening at the UW Indoor Preview at the Dempsey Indoor Center on Saturday, setting four school top-10 marks.
"It was a good first meet for us," began head coach . "As a coach staff we wanted to watch our athletes; observe how they prepared and how they made adjustments."
Preparation turned into realization on Saturday as four Beavers made their way into the Oregon State record books.
Sophomore throws specialist Sydnie Guthrie-Baker finished in ninth place with a 15.56-meter throw, a personal record by nearly seven feet.
