VANCOUVER, B.C. – The No. 8 Oregon State women's basketball team took down Western Kentucky 74-60 Thursday evening at the Vancouver Showcase in Vancouver, B.C.
"I'm grateful for the win today," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "Western Kentucky is a battle-tested team, so we knew they wouldn't be phased by anything. We didn't shoot the ball the way we are capable of today, which made things more difficult on us. I am proud of the way we battled through that. We defended well and we won the boards; we made the plays we needed to get the win.
