GREELEY, Colo. – The Oregon State wrestling team snapped a three-match losing streak on Friday night with a convincing 31-15 victory at Northern Colorado.
Back-to-back pins by junior (141) and senior (149) enabled the Beavers (2-3) to pull away from UNC (0-5) for their first victory since a season-opening 22-20 triumph over Duke back on Nov. 12. Junior heavyweight concluded the match with OSU's third fall.
The Beavers also got a major decision by senior (133) and decisions from junior (157), redshirt freshman (174) and sophomore (197) to hand the Bears their fifth consecutive loss.
