Beavers Finish Tied For Eighth In Hawai'i

WAIKOLOA, Hawai'i – The Oregon State men's golf team played well for the second straight and finished in a tie for eighth place at the 28th Annual Amer Ari Invitational on Saturday.

The Beavers concluded the three-day, 54-hole tournament with a 13-under 285-279-287--851 at the par-72, 7,074-yard Waikoloa Kings' Course. They finished tied with No. 2 Georgia Tech and ahead of three Pac-12 teams -- Utah (10th place), Stanford (13th place) and Colorado (15th place).

Freshman Sean Kato and sophomore Spencer Tibbits both led Oregon State with a 4-under 212 to finish in a tie for 24th place.
