TACOMA, Wash. – The Oregon State women's golf team continued its strong fall season with a third-place finish at the 15-team Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational on Tuesday.
The Beavers shot a 23-over 292-300-295--887 at the par-72, 6,086-yard Tacoma Country and Golf Club to finish third at the two-day, 54-hole tournament.
Washington won the team title with a 16-over 291-298-291--880 and BYU rallied in the final round to finish second with a 19-over 306-291-286--883.
Oregon State has competed in three tournaments this fall and has posted a top-5 finish in all of them – fourth at the Ptarmigan Ram Classic, first at the Rose City Collegiate and third at the Pat Lesser-Harbottle Invitational.
