EUGENE, Ore. – The Oregon State men's golf team finished in fifth place and Kevin Murphy notched his eighth career top-10 finish at the 28th Annual Duck Invitational on Tuesday.
The Beavers concluded the two-day, 54-hole tournament with a 20-over 288-285-299--872 at the par-71, 7,020-yard Eugene Country Club to finish fifth in the 15-team field.
Oregon State has now recorded top-5 finishes in five of their eight tournaments this season -- second at the Alister MacKenzie Invitational, third at the Bandon Dunes Championship, and fifth at The Jackrabbit, Duck Commander Intercollegiate and Duck Invitational.
