CORVALLIS – Jermar Jefferson tied a single-game record with four touchdowns on 139 yards as Oregon State fell in a Pacific-12 Conference matchup against Washington State.
The Beavers (1-5, 0-3 Pac-12) lost to the Cougars (5-1, 2-1 Pac-12) by a final score of 56-37 on Saturday night in Reser Stadium.
Washington State opened the scoring with a touchdown on the game's opening possession. The Cougars followed with a defensive touchdown leading 14-0 early.
