This game looked like it was going to be interesting in the first half. The Beavers were firing on all cylinders. Gligorije Rakocevic and Stephen Thompson Jr. combined for 18 of the Beavers 29 first half points and the Oregon State went into the half with a two-point lead against the fifth ranked team in the country. It was probably the best half that the Beavs have put together in this nightmare of a season, and gave everyone hope for the second half.
But then, back to reality.
Arizona went on a tear in the second half, getting out to a 23-7 start in the first 10 minutes and never looking back after that.
