Corvallis – The Oregon State women's soccer team put up a tough fight, but unfortunately, falls 1-0, to Clemson in the first game of the 2018 season.
"I thought it was a good first game for us," said Oregon State head coach Linus Rhode. "Clemson is a second-round tournament team and one of the top teams in the ACC. I thought we did really well, and it was a great start for us."
Freshman goalkeeper Bridgette Skiba recorded six total saves, three of which came within the first 15 minutes of play.
"Skiba was outstanding for us today," Rhode continues.
