Beavers fall at Arizona State

TEMPE, Ariz. – Jermar Jefferson rushed for a career-high 254 yards and two touchdowns as Oregon State dropped its second Pac-12 contest of the season at Arizona State.

The Beavers (1-4, 0-2 Pac-12) lost to the Sun Devils (3-2, 1-1 Pac-12) by a final score of 52-24 on Saturday night.

Jefferson's 254 rushing yards marks the most against the Sun Devils by a Beaver in Oregon State history.

Arizona State scored on three possessions early putting Oregon State in a 17-0 deficit in the second quarter.

The Beavers broke the shutout in the second quarter on an extended drive that lasted 13 plays chewing up 5:36 off the game clock.
