Beavers Fall, 3-2, at Washington State

PULLMAN, Wash. - The Oregon State women's soccer team fell, 3-2, at Washington State, Friday night.

"I am proud of the way our kids battled against a very tough and physical Washington State team," said head coach Matt Kagan. "We scored two great goals but unfortunately they got their foot on one more than we did."

With one shot on the board, redshirt-junior McKenzie Weinert scored the first goal of the night before the clock hit the two-minute mark. A scuffle in front of the net led to a triangle pass between Weinert, sophomore Abby Schwartz, and junior Sydney Studer just before Weinert made the shot on goal.
