CORVALLIS, Ore. - The Oregon State softball team fell, 2-1, to No. 6 Washington in the final game of their series, Sunday.
Washington started the game, scoring right from the very first inning. After reaching on an error, a Husky scored when her teammate hit a triple.
The Beavers answered, and tied the score, in the second inning. The Huskies walked three batters, sophomore , redshirt-freshman , and junior , to begin the bottom.
Sophomore hit a single up the pocket between third base and shortstop to bat in the tying run.
Both the third and fourth innings saw just three batters each.
