Beavers Even Series With 5-2 Win

SEATTLE – Adley Rutschman tallied three hits and every Oregon State starter recorded at least one hit to lead top-ranked Oregon State to a 5-2 win over Washington Friday at Husky Ballpark.

The win evened the series at one game apiece, with the rubber match coming Saturday at 2:05 p.m. PT. Oregon State improved to 29-2 overall, and 13-1 in conference play, extending its lead over second-place UCLA and Washington (20-13, 7-4) to 4 ½ games. The Bruins started play Friday at 7 p.m., and can take over sole possession of second place – and remain four games behind OSU - with a win over Stanford.
