DENTON, Texas – tallied 11 kills and finished with eight but the Oregon State volleyball lost in three sets to North Texas Friday night at the North Texas Volleyball Center.
Set scores were 25-21, 25-18 and 25-22.
The match was the first of the North Texas Challenge for the Beavers, who will now set their sights on two matches Saturday. Oregon State takes on Campbell at 11 a.m. PT before playing New Orleans at 3 p.m.
Marshall finished with a team-leading 11 kills, marking her seventh consecutive effort with double-digit kills this season. She attempted a team-high 34 attacks, adding two assists, three digs, a service ace and a block.
