Box Score CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Oregon State men's soccer team battled California to a 2-2 draw on Thursday at Lorenz Field in its Pacific-12 Conference home opener.
"We're pretty disappointed with this result considering the way we played today," said Oregon State head coach . "If you look at the shot count and the quality of chances, I think they're clearly in our favor. We switched off a couple times, and that's a lesson we will learn from this. I can't fault our guys for being aggressive. If we keep creating chances like that, they will continue to fall for us.
