PULLMAN, Wash. – In four of the last five seasons leading up to 2016, the Oregon State volleyball team had posted at least one victory over a top-25 ranked team.
You can now amend that to five of the last six.
The Beavers downed No. 23 Washington State in four sets Friday night at Bohler Gym. Set scores were 19-25, 27-25, 25-23 and 25-19.
The win sent Oregon State (10-14, 3-10 Pac-12 Conference) to its second consecutive victory after defeating Arizona in four sets Sunday at Gill Coliseum. Additionally, the Beavers won their eighth match in their last 13 against Washington State (17-8, 7-6), giving the club a season split against the Cougars.
