PULLMAN, Wash. – The red-hot Oregon State volleyball team defeated Washington State in an intense five-set match Sunday afternoon. The win over the Cougars completed OSU's first road sweep since 2011 and the first of the Washington schools since 1990.
The Beavers, who improved to 13-7 and 3-5 in the Pac-12, have won three of their last four matches including a pair of five-set matches over the weekend in the Evergreen State. Sunday's set scores were 25-17, 20-25, 25-19, 14-25 and 15-12.
"It was a fantastic effort," head coach Mark Barnard said.
