CORVALLIS, Ore. – blasted a three-run home run in the bottom of the seventh inning to tie the game up 4-4 and to force an eighth inning, but the No. 5/4 Arizona replied with three runs in the eighth to steal a 7-4 win.
Both teams fought to score in the opening three frames, as there were just one hit between the two and a combined five runners left on base. Arizona broke the drought in the top of the fourth with a solo home run to left to take a small lead.
The Wildcats added to their lead in the top of the fifth after scoring a pair of runs.
