In a struggle the Beavers crawl on top of the pile thanks to some late inning heroics.
It was a promising start for the Beavers who had a quick start thanks to the bat of Christian Donahue who led the game off with a double and he was moved over to third thanks to a ground out. Logan Ice brought him home on a sac fly and the Beavers were up 1-0 after the top of the 1st.
The Ducks threatened in the bottom of the second though when Steven Packard came up to the plate. He crushed one that would have gone yard but Kyle Nobach went all super hero to bring it back into the field.
